The Moreno Valley Unified School District is the third-largest district in Riverside County, the 23rd largest in California, educating nearly 32,000 students in grades TK-12 at 40 schools.

About Our District

The Moreno Valley Unified School District is the third-largest district in Riverside County, the 23rd largest in California, educating nearly 32,000 students in grades TK-12 at 40 schools.  MVUSD consists of 23 elementary schools, 6 middle schools, 4 comprehensive high schools, and 7 alternative schools. The District provides a state preschool program, an online academy and an adult education program.

About Our Community

The City of Moreno Valley, including a small portion of Riverside and parts of unincorporated Riverside County, span over 51 square miles. Moreno Valley is the second-largest city in Riverside County. Located in Southern California, Moreno Valley is a “bedroom community” with inexpensive housing and a limited employment base with many families commuting to other cities for employment.
